Need smaller, inexpensive replacement for 6800 GTO PCI-E

I rebuilt my system into a smaller case due to a power surge taking out my motherboard and a few other items. Needless to say, the distance between the back of the case and the hard drive cage is too small for my 6800gto. I only do occasional gaming on a 19" WS LCD (1440x900), mostly older games, and I normally don't use AA/AF. The 6800gto unlocks just fine to 16 pipes. Would a used 7600gt or X1650xt from the FS/FT forum be a decent sub-$100 replacement, due to their shorter PCB's?

I don't see anything for sale, off to video this goes!

The 7600gt would be a fantastic upgrade. They perform as well as, if not better than the 6800gt.
