Hey guys...I just picked up a sloket/celeron combo from the for sale/trade forums, and it wasn't really packed very well.....the sloket/cpu had fallen out of the mobo en route, and there was a loose jumper as well. I can't get it to boot up now, my monitor just says "no signal"...

I am guessing the jumper came off of the sloket, so I need some help in figuring out where it goes on the sloket...

On the left side of the sloket are two rows of two-pin jumper slots...(JP4 and JP1)...these are for the bus speed, so since the chip is a Celeron 566 ( that should run fine at 100mhz bus ), I want it to be on a 100mhz bus....JP1 says "open 100mhz, close 66mhz"...does open mean no jumper, or is that what closed means?

The right side is for the voltage, as well as an indicator of mult cpu's(JP3)...only one cpu here, so forget JP3.

JP2 says "manual", and lists quite a few voltage combinations....There are 4 rows of three pins on JP2, vids 3,2,1,0, and there is a small graph that says" 0 = open, 1 = closed ". I want to be at 1.8 volts, and the graph says for that voltage it should be (in 3210 order) 1010, which I interpret as a jumper on vid3 and vid1. Is this right?

There is one additional jumper above the JP2 slots that is not labeled at all, and also has three pins....any idea what this one might be for?

The guy I bought this from is a good trader, and he assures me he had the system booting up just fine...the mobo appears to be ok, and I tried this sloket/cpu in my other system and got the same message, so I think this is the source of the problem.

I have pics of the sloket at my web site ....this is for the Mrs.' system, and any help would be greatly appreciated!
