I have an intel MoBo now ...and I will be upgrading to the Epox 8KTA3 .. I noticed that the connector for the power on/off , reset, HD LED ... will not fit on the Epox. it is a flat connector that has 2 rows for a total of 8 connectors x2... so now I have no clue how to dismantel that connector .. and how to hook it up to the MoBo ...in the front there is a little board, where the on LED and HD LED and 2 switches for on/off and reset, the connector plugs into the board the same way it does on the MoBo side !!
The connector looks like a mini IDE cable (8 wires)...
This case is ATX but made by Dell, so what's the heck with that connector !!
I will buy seperate connectors for each function, but the problem is how would I know where to hook them up on the mini front switch board to match the MoBo !?
I got also a new Enermax 350Watts power supply
Please heeelpp it is the only thing that is keeping me from firing up that baby ...

It sounds like you have a proprietary Dell case/mobo combination there. The easiest solution I can think of is to buy a new case with a non-proprietary switch assembly/connector. You can get the Enlight 7237 without power supply from Onvia, they are doing free shipping (select Ground shipping during checkout) so it is just $35 shipped, including a case fan. http://products.onvia.com/gen/search/sap.asp?Prodid=1226935

In the meantime, you can start up your Epox board by touching a screwdriver tip across the Power Switch pins, or you can wire up your own momentary-on switch to do this if you don't want to get a new case. Ditto for the Reset switch, and if you can trace the wiring to the LED's you can make your own connectors for them, if they're important to you.
