NEED SERIOUS HELP ON GAMING SYSTEM!

Hi I am thinking about building a kick ass gaming system but I need advice on what the best out is... I have checked all of the web sites (like geek.com) with dream gaming systems but they are all out of date. does anywhere have up to date dream gaming systems with no regard to money posted up that is updated almost everyday??? how can I find out what the perfect gaming system parts would be?! I just want a list of all the best out products like motherboard video hard drive etc... where can I find this?!??!

also try cnet.com and try hardware reviews, they have reviews on the best products, worst products, pros-cons etc, I usually go there when I research something I want to buy.

Actually setting abudget will make your life easier.
plus what you dont spend now you can always spend later (try explaing this to a woman will not work!) and thus furture proof your machine.

lotsa RAM 512
fast CPU AThlon XP
geforce 3Ti / radeon 8500
via 266A based mboard perhaps a really new gigabyte (these are now starting to include o'c features) with HW RAID.
big monitor 17" minimum!! (17" can still go to LAN parties - which reminds me get an ethernet card)
sb live
CDR
DVD huh divx is brilliant (and I have a DVD drive)
