Okay, might be ordering new rig tommorow, will be my first build.

Heres what I have right now.

TT Soprano Case NO/PS
Antec Smart Power 500 watt PSU
MSI Neo4 Sli platinum
AMD 3500 Venice
XFX 7800gt overclocked
1 gb corsair valueselect (2x512)
160 seagate hd with ncq
benq 16x dvd durner
samsung 19inch crt

Will it work? The things im most shaky on are brand of GPU, mobo(heard that lanparty sli isnt good for first timers), and psu. Iff I Plan to ever add SLI, would it hold up? Ive been trying to find the enermax 535 psu for like $85 but i cant find it. Also Im considering upgrading my ram to higher quality OCZ ram with a lower CAS latency(its like $110 for 2x512)

Thanks for your time, all commets are welcome.

I didn't know XFX overclocked out of the gate; I thought that was BFG's MO. Interesting.

Yeah, that system should work out quite nicely. I very much doubt that you would need SLI in that system, the RAM and/or the CPU would become such a bottleneck that you wouldn't see much in the way of improvement.

Unless you're overclocking the CPU a nice hunk, I've been led to believe that Value Select RAM will serve you perfectly well.

The GPU looks solid as well, to me.

IMO, I say go with the Jetway 939GT-4 SLI and a Venice 3000+. Go with a Scythe SHOGUN and overclock to your hearts content 🙂

Secondly, I'd spring for the EVGA KO card

and thirdly, I'd go with a PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool 510 Deluxe/SLI

But those are just my 2cents
