Need SATA drivers for HP Desktop

I've got a Pavilion P6000 series (amd) that I need to convert to XP Pro for a client whose software is not Windows7 friendly

Problem is that I can't even get started on the project because I can't even find the SATA drivers for it (AMD 785G chipset) - let alone any other hardware. It's an ATI Radeon HD4200 graphics-integrated board and it's a fairly recent build. I think the PC is less than six months old.

What do I need to do to get XP Pro on it? HP's website driver tool does not show XP as an option. When I click on 'operating system not listed?' it says simply that if it's not listed there are no drivers for it!

Suggestions greatly appreciated. I'm off to AMD's website for the third time to search again. I've given up on HP's site for this particular project

What's the southbridge chipset? (CPU-Z should be able to tell you, I think.)
If it's SB700 or 710, check out these drivers.

OK thanks a million I d/loaded the suite. I'm assuming I'll be able to extract the SATA driver from it? I think I'll put a spare SATA drive in that computer and see what I can get going after I extract these files.

That way I can be sure not to destroy his existing file system. If this stuff doesn't work, hell have to update to Windows7 Pro and use Virtual Machine with Windows XP in it. I KNOW that will get his software working.

But he wants all the machines in his office to be XP Pro and so that's my first choice is to ablige him that way. He's the one that writes the check when I'm done ...
