Need router that works with dialup modem

I need some recommendations on a router that can be used with a dialup modem. I want to build a home network and we only have dialup available (I live in the sticks). A hub or switch option is might be ok but then I need to set up a computer as a server. I have W98SE on all three computers.

Might wanna check out here
The site sucks, but hey, it was the third result in a Google search... the thing is, I think you'll need an external modem...

I think you can setup a proxy server to do this. Just get an old PC and put it on the network, install some proxy server software and have it connect to your ISP. I remember my office's DSL going down and I did this setup to dialup to another ISP. Whenever it would disconnect, it gave me the option to automatically reconnect. I can't remember what I used, but I'm thinking WinProxy, but I'm not sure.

A trader on the FS/T forums had three dialup routers exactly what you are looking for. I think he sold them a few weeks ago, but I'd do a search to be sure.

Get the SMC router. There are a couple of people unloading them for about $40 shipped over at FS/FT forum. I've had mine for 2 years now and it's running like a champ. Used it when I had dialup, then DSL and now cable.
