Need reviews on scsi cards?

I'm thinking that my next upgrade will be to scsi drive for my OS and apps. I personally haven't seen many reviews for scsi cards. Anyone have some links I can look at or recommendations. My first objective is to pick out a scsi card. Pretty much I'm looking into getting one of the best and fastest available so hopefully it will be usefull for awhile and able to go through a few hard drive upgrades that I may have in the future.

adaptec 29160...

if you want a cheaper card, ppl here swear by the tekram controllers.

should I look at adaptec as being the best brand or is there better

edit: I mean don't think that I'm rich or something but I'm just trying to get a feel for what is top of the line

adaptec is the gold standard for scsi

if you are going to get an ultra 160 drive, then the 29160 is more than enough. even the 19160 (windows only) is fine if you are using windows.

390F uses a Symbios chip and seems to be okay. 315U uses a TekRam chip and is a POS. I have seen sites practically giving them away. I never did get mine to work and threw it in the landfill. I also have a 390U3W that is a little tricky but seems to be acceptable.
