If anyone lives in or knows the Ashford,Ct area, I could certainly use some help. I have a friend who lives there, and I want to send him and his wife out for dinner. I don't know the area at all, so if you guys could recommend some restraunts that are withing a 20 mile or so radius of the area, I would appreciate it.

I live in CT, but ashford is in the middle of nowhere (northeast CT), so I don't know. They should all head over to the casinos, that would be a heck of a date (and probable a 20 minute drive for em).

It's about a 100 miles from anywhere, in the dead zone between Hartford and Rhode Island. Nobody has heard of it unless they were born there or got lost on the way to someplace else,
 
I searched local.google.com and came up with a Bennigans, Outback Steakhouse, and Applebees within 25 miles. Which should I get him a GC for?
 
Cash + a note to the wife that it is for dinner. She wouldn't let him spend it any other way. That way, you get what you want, and they get to eat at their favorite restaurant (even if it is not a chain restaurant).
