I need a replacement OEM part for my Ford Explorer Sport. I've been looking through Google but I keeping getting the same crappy websites that are reskins of the same basic website.

The part is the door on the center storage compartment.

Can anyone recommend a good website to get this part?

dealership.

if it's not welded to the unibody, than the part dept can probably get it. markup varies from dealer to dealer, but most non-upscale makes are actually pretty reasonable for stuff like this. the problem is that what you want may be manufactured as part of a bigger assembly and not come by itself.

i doubt you would find any kind of factory interior parts for most newer models on the internet.

I was hoping to avoid the dealer because I thought that I could get better pricing online like I can do for computer parts...

Thanks.

Thanks for the recommendation.

This at least appears like a legit website with the kinds of parts I'm looking for. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that they have any interior parts like I'm looking for...

it's rare that you can buy parts made by the manufacturer on the internet. if they don't make an aftermarket part for it, you're not likely to find it in a parts store or on the web.

i have seen some sites that sell manufacturer parts, but they selection is often pretty limited. you might as well at least call the dealer and see what it costs.

I was on that website earlier and it wasn't working. I couldn't get any parts to come up for the Explorer. However, now it seems to be working... I found the part in their diagrams but they don't list a part you can buy :(

So far it's looking like the dealer will be my best bet.

maybe try a wrecking yard? some are crosslinked and if the one you contacted doesn't have it, they may be able to tell you who does.

this may tell you who has what you need.
