so as title states I Need Remote Desktop to connection to some friends and family and seeing what is avail besides the Teamviewer program I been using for my Window desktops.

I will post this now for any feedback and questions Thanks.
 
I wanted some that was like Windows 10 remote desktop that hooked up through the internet which I assume as I am not a networking geek that it would be hooked to a vpn to connect to the other PC.

Oh and the biggest part is has to be easy for whoever is going to install at the remote site and be free to use.

You don't need a VPN to use TeamViewer at all. The remote machine doesn't even need to install the software.

Just download TeamViewerQS ( https://download.teamviewer.com/download/TeamViewerQS.exe ), move it to desktop and run it.

Watch some tutorials on Youtube.

On the other hand, you need Windows 10 Pro & above to be controlled by another Windows 10 machine using Remote Desktop.
