need recs for non gaming, non-OC setup

Upgrading someone else rig from XP 2500+. Has to be SUPER STABLE! For business apps (MS Office), some video. I've been out of the loop for a coupla years.

Gigabyte DS3 Rev 3.3
CPU: Intel C2D xxxx
Memory: 2GB (2x1 GB)
PSU: Antec NEO 450W
Vista ultimate.
cooler: I was thinking about the Typhoon or Typhoon VX- needs to be quiet

So can you tell me which is a good video card - I think we need one VGA and one DVI, memory, CPU and CPU cooler? Also a good DVD burner.

no budget, but don't want to waste the $ either. I live several hours away from where the PC will be housed, so I don't want BSODs or any other technical problems that I can avoid.

The Core 2 duo E4300 after the price drop might be a hot ticket, especially with the motherboard you have chosen. As for video, I am going to get the 8600GTS soon, looks like a good value and a good step up over my radeon.
