Need recommendations on new motherboard and Pentium 1GHZ setup

I am looking to upgrade my computer, but I have been out of the motherboard loop for a few months now. I was thinking about upgrading to a Intel 1GHZ+ cpu. Does anyone have any recommendations on a motherboard I could use with this cpu? The last time I was shopping for a motherboard, the two biggest chipsets seemed to be the Apollo Via 133 Pro chipset and the Intel 810E chipset? Are there newer chipsets out now that I should look into? Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hey there. I'd reccomend the Asus CUSL2 motherboard. It's definitly the top-of-the-line in it's class. It features 5 USB ports right out of the box (7 max), the Intel i815E chipset with a max memory amount of 512MB. I have not heard one bad thing about it! Honestly! It also has 6 PCI slots, 1 AGP Pro slot (Pro for future cards, but all will work without problems), 2 CNR slots (congrats for anyone who has a use for them). I can name at least 15 people who I've built systems for and are friends of mine who are 110% satisfied. With the brand name of Asus, you simply cannot go wrong!

My $0.02.

Yes, I almost forgot about the Cusl2. I actually recommended the same board to a relative of mine. I don't think he has had problems with it; otherwise, he would have been knocking at my door. =) Thanks for the advice.
