I have given up on 5Ghz, it just doesn't have the range. I like the idea of one band for the net and one for streaming but it just isn't working. I have an E4200 and at ~70 feet it drops .8MB/s according to windows. I stream a lot of video from my server an it just continually locks up the stream and lags every 5 minutes or so. On the 2.4Ghz band I get 2.4MB/s at the same location. But, the built in wireless on the PS3 won't even stream Netflix, must be a weak radio. So I need a 2.4Ghz bridge to replace my 5Ghz bridge. I'm getting lazy as I get older and don't want to mess with flashing a router with dd-wrt, I just want it to work. It will be connected to a PS3 and a WD media streamer so two ports are needed, three would be nice but not a necessity. Suggestions? Cheaper the better but I want to do this once and not have to try more than one. Amazon Prime availability is also a big plus.

A dd-wrt router is fine if it comes pre-installed.

I'm eying the Buffalo WHR-HP-G300N, thoughts? For $43 it seems like a pretty good value but I will spend more if there's something better that will get me the performance I want.
