I currently just have my 32 in LCD sitting on a small entertainment center. As my kids are getting bigger they are starting to play with it. I need to get this somewhere safe, where it won't fall on them.

I'm looking for a cheap wall mount. Money is tight right now.

TV: 32" weight-- I think about 30lbs (I'd like a mount that could hold up to a 50" for future expansion)
Wall: Plain wall with studs. no special problems I can see.

I'd like something with some basic cable management at least.

so far I'm thinking this might be my best bet.

any other ideas are appreciated!!!!

if you're REALLY budget minded and don't mind some DIY - search "french cleat monitor mount" in google.

I don't know my boys are pretty destructive. I think with the french cleat they could push up on one end and it might fall, especially as this tv only weighs about 30lbs

French cleat method is time-tested best method to hang heavy wooden cabinets in kitchens and homes which are often much more than 30lbs. One can think of few easy modifications to make it "slide-proof" like maybe by using cheap clamps or something... DIY can have its advantages.

I use a $10 mount for my 42' plasma in the kitchen which I believe I got from Monoprice. Can't find it there now though. Now this is the plain vanilla mount, no tilting or what not since we never need to do that on any of our TVs.
