Need recommendations for replacing a Buffalo WHR-HP-G54

For some reason my Buffalo router stop putting out a strong enough wireless signal and I need to replace it. My laptop is less than 7 feet from the router. Can someone please recommend a replacement for it?

I have the same router, never a hitch. Haven't had to reboot it for many many months. This laptop is downstairs from it. Why would yours suddenly produce less signal? Are you sure it's the router and not your laptop? Just sayin'. Does your laptop pick up signals from other wireless routers in the vicinity?

I thought that the problem could be my laptop but it was able to pick up WIFI during a hotel stay last week.

I have rebooted the router but it did not fix the problem.

Try to change channels make sure that the Antenna is Not lose.

There's no close networks where you are? Take your laptop to a library or somewhere they have a wireless network. Even if it's secure your laptop should at least see it's there.

Since my last post the router stopped working. I just installed a new one and now everything works.
