I have a client who is convinced he needs a dual processor board. Is there one for the new p4s? Or are they all XEONs? What is a great AMD dual board?

thanks

What is your budget and what will be done with it.

If videoediting is the thing, then get a Dual Opteron or xeon system

If for server/ workstation then go with Dual Athlons (760MPX board)

if wanting a dual cpu board then by far the best choice right now is going with an opteron setup

cpu's start at around $190

I was wrong the review the review was on the Asus i875 Dual Xeon board. So far I am not able to find a mobo that will take 2 regular P4 chip. Oh well Xeon cost too much for me.

I am planning to upgrade my XP1800+ to a P4 3.0, I wonder how does the HT perform on the P4. Does it really work like you having 2 CPU, I do a lot of video editing I want to know if it is possible to use the computer for other task while it is encoding the video clips.
