Need recommendation for inexpensive NIC/PCI

My integrated network Intel chip set just died inside my Dell mobo (dim 4700), it keeps reading "network cable unplugged", even though I tried second cable that works form another system.

Something reliable but cost over $10...Which one would you pick in this line-up

honestly though, just get the cheapest 10/100/1000 ethernet pci card. a nic is a nic, at least for the most part.

if you have a PCI-E 1x slot, you should get an intel gigabit PCI-E adapter. That would serve you MUCH better than any PCI based gigabit card.
