Need recommendation for headset with mic

After over six years of use, my headset shorted out one side of the headphones today. I use the headset to talk over Skype several hours per week so I'd like to get something of decent quality.

I'd prefer wireless if possible but not if it causes the connection quality to drop.

Does anyone have personal experience with a great headset used for talking over Skype or any other computer voice software? If so, can you name the product and the price?

Edit: I've prefer it to have two earpieces for surround sound so I can use it for gaming, too.

Plantronics makes good stuff usually. They have wireless ones, but not sure on the computer side. I've seen some cool setups for actual phones - they pickup the headset for you, etc.
 
I just use the one that came with my copy of UT2k4. You really don't need a great one, since Skype doesn't have that great sound quality to begin with.
