Need recommendation for camera

A friend of mine is looking for a digital camera. i showed her my elph series canon and she said that was a bit thick. She has small hands so i was wondering if anyone could recommend a nice digital camera the the 3-3.2mp range about 300 dollars or less. I am looking at reviews as i write this. Thanks ahead of time.
 
Fuji Finepix series is pretty good.

A310 is 3 MP. There's a new one out too...there was a thread about it on here.

Just looked up the that camera. Looks good but is a tad expensive. Still going for under 300.
 
So far i am stuck between the canon sd10 and sd110. That pentax would be great if i can find a decent price on it.

i got one too...its awesome when you see another dude w/ an altoids case take out his optio...its like hehe me too :beer:


and at a little over $300, its a great deal.

If she gets the optio that opens up the option of just buying her a box of altoids for her birthday heh 😀. Have you actually used an altoid case for it? Im curious to know if the camera will scratch from that.
 
Why not Optio when you can get Canon Sd-10?
SD-10's picture quality is as good as S400-500 unless you go over ISO 200.
As long as you/she give up the optical zoom, it's all good. (Digital zoom is good as long as you don't go over 2x).

You don't even need to think about which one to get. Get Sd-10.
 
Another vote for the Optio S4. I love mine. You can find it for ~$300 at some online retailers.
There is also the Optio S which is 3MP, you can probably find it for even cheaper...same form factor.
 
what that sont T1 cost?

anyway the pentax, get an Optio S4 NOT the S4i its alot cheaper and just as good
