Need recommendation for BD player (1080p only)

Need recommendation for BD player (1080p only) -please help me chose the BD player for in-laws (on their request).

Use case : 80 year old couple that want to play BDs checked out from the library on their 1080p TV (no 4K or anything).

Wants

• simple remote (big and few buttons)
• not horribly slow menus

No need for

• 'apps'
• 'wifi'
• playing anything from USB
• 4K support
• DV/HDR10 (no TV support)

any recommendations? anything I see is cheap and has tons of negative review, however most of those reviews are people expecting magic out of cheap device (my netflix is broken after only few months, how come?).

Its fast, I never use the 3D or wifi features, and it doesnt force you to do updates or any bullcrap.

Since you can only buy it used, and its expensive, I would recommend another Panasonic with limited features.

Dont use the Streaming. It doesnt even have WIFI.

Its a solid, basic player.
