Need recommendation for an etiquette book for a friend

This person is sweet but commits some of the most basic manners errors I've ever seen, and does it repeatedly. It's very clearly out of ignorance. He invites himself to things he overhears, takes food without asking, etc. After this last weekend at a wedding, where he called the groom the night before to ask for a ride, and showed up completely underdressed (and downed the drink for the toast before the toasts were proposed), I hit the breaking point.

We've already talked and he's looking forward to getting the book, so it's not going to come out of the blue and offend him. But now I need to find a good, down-to-earth etiquette book. He doesn't need to know how to set tea tables properly, just how to interact day to day without being unintentionally rude.

Any recommendations?

Oy, I think this will be very hard to correct...

Old habits die hard.

Apparently so. The sad thing is that he's a really nice guy and isn't a complete jerk, just doesn't know what to do when. That's why I'm hoping a book might help, even a bit.
