Need receiver suggestions

Any under $350? Less is better. I use my x-fi card to do all the fun stuff.
I need a receiver that does at least 7.1 via composite.

"composite" does not do 7.1. Maybe you meant "component".

As for AVR suggestions. Go to Amazon or Crutchfield and look at AVRs in your budget and read the descriptions to see if they have the appropriate inputs.
