Nothing wrong with a baked potato.
Wrong. It's best to eat those complex carbs early in the day. Like brown rice, etc. A medium to a medium-large baked potato is VERY high in starch and carbs. Roughly 70-90 carbs depending on how big it is.
For example:
My "cutting" diet:
7:00am: 8-10 Egg Whites with 1-2 yolks, scrambled or omlet style, with a piece or two of weat bread toast about 50-60g Protein about 30-40 carbs
9:30am: BioTest Grow Low Carb Chocolate Protein Shake (4g Carbs, 40g Protein)
11:30am: Tuna Salad and Whole Wheat Bread(2 pieces) about 40g Protein and 20g Carbs
2:00pm: BioTest Grow Low Carb Chocolate Protein Shake (4g Carbs, 40g Protein)
5:00pm: 96% Lean hamburger Meat (40-50g Protein, 2-3carbs), or 10oz Lean Grilled Chicken breast (30-40g Protein), or Lean Steak (40-60g Protein 2-3 carbs)
6:30-8:30: Very heavy weight training
Post Workout: BioTest Grow Low Carb Chocolate Protein Shake (4g Carbs, 40g Protein)
11:00pm: Another BioTest Grow Low Carb Chocolate Protein Shake (4g Carbs, 40g Protein)
For a total of about 300g Protein/day. I need this to maintain my LBM (lean body mass), or muscle tissue while restricing carbs to cut as much as possible. I am 6-1 and 285bs now at 9-10% bodyfat now (holding a bit of water though) and I am cutting using this diet. Also, throw in cardio INTENSE for 3-4 times a week for 30-45 minutes each time. Do it on an empty stomach for maximum results.
Also, you need to drink roughly a gallon or so of water a day. Don't go over 2 a day though. If you want to know more, just shoot me a PM.
