Hey , he asked for new rap songs with bass. I answered his question. I'd prefer to give him the ol skool 80's and 90's rap that I grew up with but he wanted NEW stuff.

With the exception of the Young Bloodz song, all came off KMEL 106.1's playlist! :D

My favorite song with a great bass line is 'Regulators' by Warren G & Nate Dogg.

If you like dancehall, 'Infiltrate' by Sean Paul and 'Tight Up Skirt' by Red Rat have excellent base lines as well.

For dancehall, nothing better than Ini Kamoze's "Here Comes the Hotstepper"

I second both Hotstepper and Regulators. Also, more in this vein, - 95 South - Whoot, There It Is. You may feel a little ridiculous playing it, but if you've got a good system, you'll have to go back and re-tighten all the bolts on your car afterwards :D

too bad gangsta rap is whats most popular right now. maybe there would be less rap haters if they didnt have to listen to 50 cent talk about how many hoes he has :p

Wow I misjudged about rap. Classic rap does have some decentness to it. RunDMC's still good...
It's the new crap I can't stand.

Know of any other songs similar to that?

I don't even know who those people are and I can tell you they suck. All rap sucks, it's just the same thing talking about killing and bitches and hoes.
