Need Radeon Driver Help

Ack! Ok so I recently reinstalled w2k, then installed the service pack, updated the 4-1's, installed the compatibility fix, and then tried to reinstall my Radeon with the drivers off the CD. Well it didnt work. In fact it crashes even before i get into windows, well, i get a blue background, a pointer, and then it freezes. I tried the beta drivers from rage3d, but they produced similar results. Does anyone have any ideas?

Try this....go into your startup folder and disable any ATIPOLAB(something like that)and ATIGART(I believe). This will force Windows to use the VIA AGP drivers, and not the ATI. Hope it helps. Let me know.
