need quiet fans and cpu etc coolers

Something as quite as possible, yet efficient.


I need cpu cooler, 120mm fan, 2x80mm fans, also possibly slot cooler, my rig is in specs and case is ultra wizard

For the fan's probably something by Scythe, Nexus, Yate loon, or Noctua.

budget is of no objiect since this will ber gradual, i used yate loon fans before and they are cheap but i really want 2 efficient/quiet 80mm ones and a nice, maybe even passive heatsink for the cpu

The best 80mm fans I've used are Panaflo fans. I haven't heard of any one doing passive cooling on a Q6600 yet, but a Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme and a 120mm Scythe S-Flex-SFF21D would be mighty quiet.

About the slot cooler, I've never heard of a slot cooler that was characterized as quiet.

One thing I would recommend to help quiet your fans and maximize the performance of your rig is a fan bus or some other guaranteed method of adjusting fan speed on the fly.

I'd recommend Jab-Tech.com for all those parts I mentioned.

depending on what you are using the 80mm fans for, arctic cooling makes one suspended on rubber grommets that moves a ton of air while being inaudible over my psu (corsair hx520)
