Need Quiet Fan for Retail AMD XP1800+

Hello - the retail fan for my xp1800+ is load and is driving me crazy! I read previous posts about this, but I am not quite sure what I need, hardware is not my forte, something about a heatsink and a fan also? What is the quietest? I would l to stay in the $20 - $40 range but I would dish out a few more $ if it's worth it...

if the stock HSF is driving you crazy, i am not sure I can help... I have an XP1700+ in my room with the stock cooler on it and I can barely hear the system.

He obviously hvn't heard those Delta & Tornado yet.

The stock HSF combo is consider quiet. Other fan tht I think u should take a look is the Vantec Stealth fan. Dun buy yet...just go down to ur local PC store & heard the fan sound 1st.

$4 coolermaster from newegg, that thing is quiet! (its the top one on there list, forgot model num).
