Does anybody know if the MSI K7T Turbo motherboard supports 266mhz FSB based T-birds? Bios update required?

Also, I've a hard drive based off a ide controller from a MSI K7 Pro mobo, and plan on using that HD on the new MSI K7T Turbo mobo. Are the controllers on both the same, so that I can use back the same HD or do I need to do a format of the HD?

Reason I ask is because I know awhile ago when I tried to put HD from a BX-based mobo over to a VIA-based mobo, it didn' recognize the HD.

yes this motherboard supports both 200/266fsb for thunderbirds...it's based on a VIA KT133A chipset so the bios shipped with it does not need to be updated for that purpose. IDE controllers should all conform to certain specifications, so there shouldn't be any incompatibilities between the two boards.
