NEED QUICK HELP - Recommend OTC Sinus Pain Relief

GF has a nasty cold, which may be a sinus infection, and she's having a lot of pain in her right sinus. Recommend me a good OTC medicine to help relieve this sinus pressure and pain, ASAP please!!

My ex had the same issues and I always had 2 tylenol and 2 ibuprofen with whatever antihistamine was called for (Psudeophedrine in the AM, Benedryl /diphenhydramine in the PM) standing by.
Also a hot steamy shower or hot soup may provide some relief. ( helps drain sinuses)

Thanks, I'm gonna double check with the pharmacist but that sounds reasonable to me. She's just so miserable right now

I'm also dealing with sinus problems right now (not an infection...yet). I really like Aleve's Sinus & Headache.

I was one of those people on whom Naproxem Sodium took awhile to work. Aspirin . Ibuprofen and Naproxem Sodium are an NSAID
What we're looking to achieve is a reduction in swelling using a NSAID (non stereoidal anti-inflammatory drug)

Choose 1 of the following to drink:
Hot tea + Honey + Lemon + Apple Vinegar

or

Whiskey



Usually I just use Afrin Maximum Strength Sinus Nasal Spray... Lay upside down and put 4 drops in each side. It will burn some though because it has menthol in it.... but it releaves most sinus problems quick.

Well pharmacy didn't have much different to say. We still have some of the good ol' Theraflu Severe Cold which has pseudophedrine and acetominaphin(SP?), so she's gonna take that along with ibuprofen. Hopefully that will help till we can get to a doc.
