So far, this is a scene that has to be in the 6-7 minute long movie.

A guy (teenager, looks hella weird, very scrubby looking, dirty clothes and all) walks into his room after school. Outside, the phone rings. He opens his door, walks out, answers it. He starts talking to his friend and laughs, has a good time. He hangs up.

He walks back into his room. Closes the door. Outside, the phone rings again. He opens the door to answer it. It's some jackass that he starts argiung with. He wins the argument. He hangs up the phone with a victorious smile.

Goes in room, closes door, phone rings. another interesting conversation.

reapeat for about 4 times with more interesting convos.

The last time he enters his room, the shot goes in the room with him. There are about 8 cell phones on his desk. He picks up one, calls his house number, and hears the ring. He goes "Oh, must be another call..." Walks out to get it.

End of that scene

So basically hes calling himself with a bunch of random cell phones that he either stole, bought, not sure. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD HE DO THIS. Help me wrap this story up pleeeezzeee. Change it around anyway you want. I'll put you in the credits.

i would go into the room with him at the last call, but this time, as he is getting ready to dial one of the cell phones....the phone really rings, and it is not him this time...it is someone real. he stands shocked because he doesnt know what to do. in all of the other convos that he had, he was funny, forceful, caring, etc... but now that the call is real, he stands there shocked because no one has ever called him before, and maybe after all the times he has "practiced" talking and preparing for a moment like this, he goes cold and does not know what to do. the scene could represent lonliness.

just my .02

good luck with it!

OK, sorry.. But why would he have to use different cell phones? Why can't he use the same one and just hit redial??? Also, you shouldn't have a concept and then think about why that character is doing what he's doing.. You're working backwards.. Think about the character first- his traits, his life... Let that lead to his actions, whatever that me be... Right now you have a gimmick and not a plot..

freedomsbeat, you read my mind, our assignment is to "fill in the blanks" so we have to use this scene, and he might have different cell phones so the calls are coming from "different" people

and i like your idea, actprincess, thanks!
