i'm filing an online application right now and i got to the part where it asked me how much do i have in the bank.

I have a good amount in it but they are all CDs. does giving them the amount that's too high will make me uneligible? Those money are my hard earned and saved for years since high school.

My last year tax income is $4000.

I don't consider money that is i CD's to be "in the bank." CD's are investment accounts, not savings accounts.

Don't mention them.

What's it say exactly on the form? Your cd's are part of your total assets. If they ask for assets then put them down, if not, leave them out.
