dell offer ends tonight (20% off), Anyways it's for heavy gaming and school , the total price for the Samsung would be $310 and the dell would cost me $350 so Im wondering if paying the extra $50 is worth it over the samsung?
 
samsung ftw... partly cus im asian but the main part is i've heard decent stuff about them and i trust samsung for quality

Well, pardon the bluntness, but that Dell's ancient.
Hard to recommend an old monitor with poor response time when the newer Samsung is cheaper & has better specs.
