Building a rig for business. Here's what I have:

-Intel Core i7 940 Nehalem 2.93GHz LGA 1366 130W Quad-Core Processor
-EVGA 132-BL-E758-A1 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
-G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel
-SAPPHIRE 100233L Radeon HD 3450 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0
-Vista Ultimate 64

=$1,213.31

My questions are the following:

1. ) Is the 940 Worth the $260 extra bucks, or in your opinions, should I stick with the 920?

2.) Newegg reviews are good for a chuckle, so please take the following with a grain of salt. Someone in the Product review section of the GSKILL pointed out that RAM with 1.65 or higher can damage the i7 (the GSKILL is 1.8). Is there any validity to this?

Thanks guys.

Cheers.

Unless your business is video production, you don't need a Core i7

Go for a Dell...
