Need PSU recommendations!

I've been out of the keeping up with PSUs for a long time... I need some help.

I'm going to be upgrading to a 8800 GTX and I'm more than sure my 1.5 year old 420 watt psu isn't going to be sufficient.

Will be running Conroe E6300 OC'ed, 8800 GTX, few case fans, 3 sata HDs, etc...

Price range would be around 120, give or take.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've been eyeing that one too. Do I really need the 650w or do I bite on the lower wattage version?

I like to be prepared, if you're willing to pay 120 why not 160🙂 You'll notice it has two PCI-E cables, in case you feel you NEED SLI😉

Seriously though, you don't need 650w...550w minimum...i'd go with 600w or more though. GTX's are hungry and if you plan on overclocking things a bit you want that extra juice.

Note the efficiency rating...that means better power transferance and less heat(energy lost).

You can always live with an Enhance EP-5150GH from EWiz for $69 + s/h... Silverstone rebadged these for $30 more...

Or you can go with the Corsair 620w which happy medium stated.
