We are currently looking to setup a temporary office in a building of office suites.
They are providing general internet access, and since it's just temporary the thought is that the users will just VPN into the corproate network from their respective machines.
This works and is all fine and dandy until we try to print.
The Printer (HP LJ4300 I think w/JetDirect card) is on their local (suite provided) network and the PC's can't see it once logged into VPN.
Is there a way to get the printer on a VPN connection? or somehow rig the printer or PC's to work?
The physical network is out of our control to a certain extent, the building manager is willing to work with us, but I don't know what their setup is at the moment.
Just looking for suggestions at the moment.
If it was long term space, we'd just run our own communications etc and it would be a non issue. But we're anticipating to be there less than a year.
Thanks.
