So, Canon decided to no longer produce ink catridges for my old (yet still working fine) printer. Too bad, I will no longer be buying any Canon products.
Anyway, I need a new printer. I have been looking at Lasers because they appear to have better value in term of ink. My main purposes for a printer is printing a lot of text documents and CD rom/album covers. My budget is $200.
Here are a few I am considering, and I will be really grateful if you could share some thoughts on which of these is a good value. I read mostly good reviews on them, but there are always a few who have trouble with them. One of my main concerns is reliability.

HP seems to hold a huge advantage in that their catridges are available anywhere and everywhere and thats important too, I dont want to have to drive to a specific store anytime I need ink. However, I have read some bad HP reviews with printers working great at first and then crapping out.
Samsung Catridges seem hard to find, but I have always been satisfied with Samsung Products. I dont know anything about the Konica brand, but it gets good reviews.
Any advice is extremely appreciated, as I have little printer knowledge.
