Ok, I consider myself a creative person, but I'm having trouble thinking up a practical joke that isn't completely lame, nor overly complicated. So I come here to ATOT for help.
Here's the criteria/scenario:
I have a female friend (just a friend, no romantic intentions) that I've been chatting to online, but never actually met in person. I do know what she looks like (sorry, no pics!), so I can spot her out, but she doesn't know what I look like. The practical joke would take place outside, on a very large set of stairs leading up to a building - there is a wide sidewalk and a decent number of pedestrians that would be walking by.

not the greatest picture, but see all those stairs in front, she would be sitting somewhere around there.
Now, she does sort of know its coming, just not when or what. But as I said, I'm running blank on funny ideas. Mine are all pretty lame and stupid, and she'd immediately know it was me pulling a practical joke. I shouldn't have warned her I was going to pull one, but the damage is already done.
Any ideas?
