Recently I purchased a Sager Laptop for my gaming needs. The Laptop is all kinds of wonderful including a Blu-Ray drive and a 1080p screen. but the speakers are the only down side (other than the weight).

Can anyone recommend some good portable speakers that I can use? When my system is docked on my desk, I have 7.1 Creative speakers and it sounds wonderful. but I need something for when I take the laptop on the road.

I have really nice headphones, but would prefer something nice in a speaker as well.

Logitech Z305? I use mine occasionally, and they're quite decent. Good surround effect considering their size. If you need something even smaller, Monoprice has those little round pop up speakers for $15 or so, and I've been satisfied with their performance as well.

What's your price range? The Jawbone Jambox is supposed to be pretty great, but it is $150-200 (depending on color and where you look). I have a little set of logitech 2.0 USB speakers that pack up pretty small, they were $30, but I don't know if they still sell them.

Thanks both of you. I would prefer closer to $30-$60 range rather than $150-$200. But wasn't sure what my options were.

Logitech V10s are what I have, but it looks like they don't sell them new anymore. They are pretty decent for what they are, cheap USB speakers.
