Need point and shoot recommendations

Taking a trip soon which should include taking pics in extremely low light (caves) and then some mountain ranges in bright light. I just really want something I can pretty much point and shoot literally. It also needs to be at least 10x zoom. I'd rather spend 200ish but if spending $300 gets me a much better camera then I could do it.

All the cameras with decent low light quality don't have more than 3-7x zoom. All the cameras with 10x+ zoom have mediocre low light performance. If you're looking to spend under $300, then fugetaboutit.

Nikon S8100 would be a good choice in your price range. 10x zoom and as good of low light performance as you're gonna get in your price range. f/3.5 at it's widest, which is where you'll be using it in a cave.
