Need phone for 1 month, then getting iPhone

I need to get a mobile phone for one month for my daughter - When the iPhone 5 is available, we will be getting her a full account (using one of our old iPhone 4). I want to wait for the iPhone 5 release in part because AT&T may start giving away the iPhone 4 with new accounts rather than the 3GS.

What are my best options?

Consumer Cellular looks pretty cheap. AT&T network and free sim. It's prepaid so no contract.

Since you said you have your own hardware, at&t has their paygo plan that includes data. You can also use h2o wireless, which is an at&t MVNO.

Unlock the iPhone and stick her on T-Mobile prepaid. That's what my daughter is using. Data is very slow but it's only for a month.

Yup, if you do it online or through Walmart its 30 bucks for unlimited data. No iPhone made uses Tmobile 3g, but 2g isnt so bad if you do most stuff at home on Wifi.
