need pda reccomendations

i'm looking for a pda i can find used for cheap that will be fun to mess around with. i want something i can load my own OS on, hopefully it should come with wireless connectivity, i want to be able to hold some MP3s and play games and write/type, just basic stuff like that. i've been looking at the iPaq 3835, seems to be pretty nice. i don't want to spend more than $150 for the unit/charger/dock/wireless card. i'm open to all suggestions, let me know what you have and if you like it.

If you want cheap and feature packed check out Dell, you can get a pocket pc with integrated wifi for alot less than the competition. HP has a previous generation Ipaq called the h4350 that has wifi and an integrated keyboard if you type alot. It doesn't have the latest o/s on it though I don't think.

Axim X30 would be a great one to pick up. I got one for my wife, and its rock solid. It has Wifi and bluetooth connectivity that works flawlessly. With the X50 being released a couple of weeks ago, I'm sure finding an X30 for ~$150 won't be a problem.

I would have to vote for the Dell Axim X30 which is what I have. They're cheap and the best bang for your buck compared to all it's competitors. Not too bad looking either. I used to be a big fan of Palm till I tried Windows Mobile.
