Ok I found a couple. Their around 20 dollars. I need a bracket PCIe slot; one but I need to make sure it can handle over 500mbps

or if the cards max is 100 or something.

I dont need a raid card as I am anti Raid . just small card with 2 sata 3.0 that will keep up with the M4. thx

You will need at least PCIe x4 card to go over 500MB/s as PCIe x1 is limited to 500MB/s. The $20 cards are pretty much always PCIe x1 - not sure what the cheapest x4 cards cost but a quick look shows that they are more expensive (over $100 for this).

I have some ASRock PCIe card with two SATA 6Gb/s ports. It provides over 400MB/s and I'm fine with that as it's just for providing extra SATA ports.

Good response guys, thanks hellhammer,,,

Ya Ive been looking and ASrock pcie card seems to be the best choice,, its around 50 dollars.

At this point Im asking, should I even bother with a cheap pcie card and its limitation,

Also btw Im PCIe 1.1 its not even 2.0 , soo I think I will connnect the new drive when I get it to the sata 2 port of mobo, then later in life when I upgrade I can enjoy sata 3 ... thx 🙂
