i'm looking to run a 700e cB0 at 144 FSB at Cas2. I have Memory Man's infenion but it wont do over 138 FSB at Cas2. I have herd from others (Mikewarrior2, err and CamaroGuy) that Crucial has some good Cas2. Any others?

I use Mushkin High Performance Mosel Vitalic Rev. 2. It is the good stuff. 🙂
I had it POST at 150MHz CAS2, however my CPU couldn't handle it, so I don't know if the RAM can. It ran fine through 146 CAS2, which the CPU did fine, but I couldn't do anything over that. That RAM is really good.

check out http://www.bxboards.com ram roundup. His corsair PC133 CAs2 chips are the same as teh crucial cas2 that i had linked from another thread.

Also, the mushkin mosel vitalic rev.2 stuff is excellent, but costs more than the crucial stuff(179 vs 140).

I have some Hitatchi PC100 (128mb) that runs great at 148. 133 with ease at cas 2. Got it at Fry's. It's their "lifetime" warranty stuff.

Results may vary of course 🙂

How high will that hitachi stuff do cas2? And what are the markigns on the chips? I have a feeling fry's sold you pc133 @pc100 price(not unlike them... 🙂).

I have a 128MB stick of Mosel Vitelic PC133 that does 150 at CAS2. You can get it at a fair price at 1-800-MEMORY. Lifetime guarantees and great buyback /upgrade policy.

Hsdram was the best up until a month ago or so..

Since then, Crucial Cas2 stuff and Mosel Vitalic Rev2. Have come out.

My top 3 picks are:

Crucial Cas2(for price!)
Mosel Vitalic Rev2.
Hsdram

Mike:

It runs 143 stable cas 2.

Here are the markings:

(Hitatchi logo) Malaysia CO3X, 9836 S88, HM5264805TTB60, PC100-322-60

Pretty odd if you ask me but I'm not complaining 🙂

HOLY CRAP! You got mighty lucky there... Yeah, i wouldnt' be complaining, but I also wouldn't expect to get something with the same chips as your ram and expect it to get to 143 cas2.

From the markings, its pc100, timings are 3-2-2. 8ns stuff. Congrats, cause it appears that it has worked out great for you.

I also own the Micron 7E running at 150Mhz CAS2. I would recommend it Crucial since it's cheaper than the other.
