Hi guys,
I need some PC advice asap... I´ve been running a powerful PC for about 30 years now, but the problem is i need a secondary (prebuilt) system to run some very demanding tasks. I´ve had some trouble with broken cassettes on my system, most likely because of the demanding software i run, and i have the idea that most hardware on the market won´t be able to handle most of the tasks i have planned for it.
Here´s a picture of my current setup:
I´ve been getting error messages when playing triple a titles like Frogger and Alley Cat on my system, but i can´t seem to find the PCIe slot to put my GTX 1080 ti inside... Is this because my system has proprietary parts? I´ve been looking into those Amiga systems lately but man they are expensive... So my thought was to upgrade to threadripper instead, but can it handle games like Boulder Dash and Pitfall II? I have to say Pitfall II looks absolutely stunning on my 4:3 inch television!!!
Well i can´t stand ugly games like the Witcher and that dreadful game Battlefield... So if anyone can help me out i´d be so happy!!!
