I am going to be building a htpc using a case that accepts microatx motherboards. I would like to get a board that uses P4's with 800mhz buses (probably will use a northwood) and must have integrated video and sound. I would like a model that integrated video with tvout (svideo) so I can initially use that until I have enough to purchase a graphics card. I know nothing about motherboards so I really need help on choosing a good budget model to use for the htpc. thanks

Typically, mATX integrated video MBs do NOT have TV-out. But since TV-out AGP cards are so cheap, ~$40, why not a mATX with an AGP slot. Such boards start at $40 on NewEgg.

Just click on Intel MBs on the left column, and select from the data fields and wala!!! The database will show every board meeting your specs.
Fun too :)
