I have a Intel Celeron 600MHz. I want to overclock it. The multiplyer is locked in a x9.0. To change the frequency I have to change some of the jumpers around. Here is how the jumpers are set up:
FREQ.
66MHz open open close close close close

100MHz open open open close open close

133MHz open open open open close open

The problem is that 66Mhz is fine, but 100MHz is too much and the computer won't boot. How can I set it for like 80MHz or another number like that?

If the motherboard doesnt have jumpers for any other FSB settings or support in the BIOS to change to any other FSB settings then you cannot.

You could consider trying a program like Soft FSB which will allow you to alter the FSB setting from withing Windows but it will depend upon what PLL-IC is on the motherboard whether you will have any options besides 66,100,133.

Odd's are if your mobo doesnt give you the option then you won't be able to change to any other FSB settings.
