It boots with these settings but its much slower.

It has liquid cooling but dont know what settings to use.

The motherboard is Asus Rampage IV Extreme.

CPU is Intel i7 4960X.

RAM is DDR SDRAM and says Dominator.

Lost in space, help appreciated with the CPU settings, rest I was able to get working.

If there is any other BIOS setting I can provide to facilitate your help, please let me know.

Thank you

I know, I meant it boots, as in, the computer loads Windows, but once there benchmarks are way slower.
Was this PC previously overclocked, before the CMOS settings were lost? Losing your overclock could explain why the benchmarks are slower. Or possibly, something is mis-configured, maybe the RAM needs to be set to XMP?

Ya used to be overclocked, hence the liquid cooling, but the person that set it up for me, no longer speaks to me because I got emotionally involved with his sister, good intentions too 🙂

Well then, change the thread title to "need overclocking help - 4960X". Someone will be along to suggest some settings for you. (I've never OCed that platform, and I don't know what settings are safe on there.)

Might need the help of a moderator, dont think I can change the topic, just the message.
