Need Optimized Settings for MSI K7T Pro2A

Mainly I am interested in how to set the memory settings for best performance. I have a 1.1GHZ Tbird and 384MB of PC133 memory. Currently not overclocking, and running 2.2 BIOS.

Thanks in advance....

Im not sure what kind of PC133 memory you have, but if your memory supports CAS 2, set it to that. In the Advanced Chipset menu in bios, set DRAM clock to 133 (i forget may be +33 cause default is 100) and Cycle length to 2. IF it boots and runs, you are all set, if not, set it to CAS 3and go that route

when i set the cycle to 2 and the speed to 133

i got lower sandra memory score than i set it to auto

try your benchmark at different setting

then you will know which is better

I could be wrong here so someone please speak up if I am.

I think the pro2a disables 4-way interleaving when you manually set your timings for the memory in the cmos. Leaving it at auto will enable e-way although it may drop your memory to cas3 instead.

Mine also benches faster with everything at auto.
