Ok, i'm buying a new dell in the next week or so, and ineed to sell my current computer, it's a Compaq 7478
533 athlon k-6
40 gig hd
64meg ram
Cdrw
DVD

1 year old

i need to pull in about $400, am i crazy, or can i do it?

sounds a little high to me

and i say that cause i just put down 300 bucks and got a similar setup but with 128Mb DDR Ram, 60gb hard drive, and a 1 gigahertz Athlon

thank you minendo, the only reason i ask, is because i found it selling refurb for $699 online,

Try selling it local, beef the ram up to 128 mg,you can get a stick cheap on the FS/FT board here,bundle it with a
legal OS, and new but cheap, keyboard/mouse,speakers you'll probably get $400 for it as it's got a burner and a decent size HD. Place an ad in your local paper.
